Simbiotek Design Lab, Inc. was co-founded in 2012 by two designers who met while studying architecture and environmental design at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. After designing and making several successful pieces of furniture, Hayley and Hunter realized their passion for industrial design by starting their own practice to focus on bringing design and fabrication together in one place. With the knowledge and experience gained in the field of architecture and engineering and a passion for making, Hayley and Hunter design and produce their own designs as well as provide services in parametric 3D modeling, advanced fabrication coordination and effective project management that leads to successful project outcomes.
Our name, Simbiotek, is based on the idea of symbiotic relationships in nature, where two entities work together towards a common goal. Simulate . Life . Technology - Sim Bio Tek
